| Proposal Coordinator |
|
The proposal manager must strategize, manage, develop, and produce winning responses
to federal, state, and local government professional services procurements, as well
as to international public and private procurements. The proposal manager leads collaborative,
integrated proposal teams to plan, develop, produce, and deliver all proposal deliverables
required by the solicitation; provides hands-on management of the entire proposal development
processes; coordinates with offices nationwide and a network of affiliates to anticipate,
plan, coordinate, and produce winning team proposals; works with the marketing coordinator and
other corporate marketing staff, as well as techincal and project management staff, to ensure
that proposals reflect the organization's most current professional credentials, technical
methodologies and solutions, and project portfolio information.

| Responsibilities |
Direct and manage the process for the development, production, and
delivery of major proposals that require collaboration of multiple business
units or which involve a large proposal effort for a single office
Coordinate all proposal-related activities of support staff, sales staff,
and executive management, and other corporate marketing staff to ensure
that tasks are assigned, followed-up on, and completed in a timely and
high-quality fashion; schedule resource allocation and expedited work processe
Work closely with Vice President of Marketing to discuss major business
development prospects and upcoming proposal support needs
Maintain regular contact with internal technical teams to stay informed of
changes in technologies/processes and to ensure that these are incorporated
into proposals in a timely fashion
Oversee development of strategies, teaming arrangements, win themes, and
content for proposals, working closely with business development staff
Assist with technical writing and content development of proposals.
Provide for final quality assurance on all proposals or direct executive
management to do same
Collect, track, and report metrics associated with all internal proposal efforts
| Requirements |
5-6 years experience in a technical sales and/or marketing position.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of proposal development activities
and processes associated with federal and local government procurements
Write copy and perform document layout, ensuring that the final product
is aesthetically appealing, edit and proofread as assigned, perform document
production, binding, mailing, and shipping. Arrange and confirm deliveries
Ability to effectively and successfully lead multiple, concurrent proposal
development in a fast-paced, highly technical environment; ability to
coordinate staff, assessing human resources against proposal development needs
and assigning/delegating work task; ability to monitor and control proposal
work flow process
Strong technical understanding of information technology; ability and desire
to grasp new technology developments and incorporate into proposal materials
Ability to clearly and concisely articulate, in written and verbal styles,
Telvent Caseta's vision and mission and communicate it throughout all proposals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capable and willing to work extended hours on short notice
Excellent and effective interpersonal and organizational skills
Marketing collateral, graphics design experience a plus
